Tawny Owl Ale is brewed by Cotleigh Brewery in the town of Wiveliscombe, Somerset England. The Tawny Owl is a part of their Beers of Prey Series. This is a golden color ale slightly hazy with a frothy white head. The aroma is a fresh grassy hop nose that flows into a toffy sweet maltyness with hints of citrus fruit. The flavor is a light smooth hop bitterness with a creamy malt sweetness and touch of biscuit that finishes dry on the tongue. Posted by The Ale Guy.
